Seattle ADU permit guidance
How much does it cost to build an ADU in Seattle?

It depends on the ADU type, size, site conditions, utilities and finish level. After a free site visit, Pacent provides a property-specific estimate before anything is signed.

Is the site visit really free?

Yes. The initial site visit is free and carries no obligation. We use it to understand your goals and review the property conditions that shape feasibility, design and cost.

What areas do you serve?

Pacent serves Seattle, Bellevue and surrounding Eastside communities. Contact us with your address or ZIP code and we will confirm availability for your property.

Can you build from Seattle’s pre-approved DADU plans?

Yes, when a pre-approved plan fits the property and project goals. We can also develop a custom design when the lot, layout or homeowner priorities call for a different solution.

Do you offer a warranty?

Warranty coverage is reviewed with the construction agreement. Pacent also coordinates final inspections, project closeout and a detailed walkthrough before completion.

What is the difference between an ADU and a DADU?

An ADU is a secondary home attached to or located within the primary residence. A DADU is a detached backyard home on the same property.
